IT Project Manager

leads multiple projects within the IT department in support of the Digital Strategy, and plays a pivotal role in driving large-scale technology initiatives that power our nationwide operations by partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects that shape the future of our organization. : Location:

This position must be based in either the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; or, Portland, Oregon metropolitan areas. Schedule : Hybrid, with 2 days per week spent in the office, and 3 days per week working remotely. Standard Office Hours : from 7:30 AM 4:00 PM Local Time. 3 steps : Talent Acquisition Manager (30 minutes), Director/Hiring Manager (1-hour), Leadership Team Panel (1-hour). Role responsibilities : Manage projects and duties within the IT department in support of the Digital Strategy and cross-functional initiatives. Lead discovery-related projects, including stakeholder facilitation through software selection and solution concept development, and evaluation and selection of purchased software solutions. Oversee software application or software development projects (e.g., E-Commerce, finance systems, ERP, Supply Chain & Logistics, system integration, web applications, data warehousing). Plan and direct multiple projects to meet business requirements: facilitate requirements processes, define scope and goals; develop plans, timelines, resource needs, risk mitigation, budgets; coordinate activities and stakeholder communications; monitor status and escalate as needed. Manage project budgets in terms of human and capital/operating resources. Utilize Johnstones Project Management methodology with tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Jira Software, Service Desk, Confluence). Manage project risks/escalation, issues, and progress to ensure goals are achieved; assist with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed. Provide stakeholders with current information on project status and issues; deliver regular reporting to Project Sponsors, IT Portfolio Management, and the E-PMO. Lead efforts such as business transformation programs and ERP implementations; manage workstreams or projects within those programs. Required Skills : Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university;

7+ years

of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A current or active certification in either Agile or PMI (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP) is preferred, but not required for this role. Active or current certification in either Agile or PMI (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP) is required. Experience managing large software development or software implementations, particularly larger net-new software implementations. Experience managing at least one software discovery or software selection project. Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with third-party partners and customers. Ability to establish objectives, timelines, deadlines, and action plans; monitor status against objectives. Strong problem-solving skills: listening, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and mitigating problems. Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and build relationships; effectively interact with third-party partners and customers.
