Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) - History: Russian/Soviet/Eastern European Hi

The History Department of DePaul University invites applications for an assistant professor specializing in European history with an expertise in Russia, the USSR, or Eastern Europe for a tenure track position to begin September 2026. The candidate will be responsible for teaching in these areas and for developing new courses that will appeal to students in the candidate’s areas of specialty. The faculty will be expected to teach in the History Department, as well as the University’s interdisciplinary programs like the Chicago Quarter, Honors, and the First Year Program. The candidate must have a PhD in history or a related field required by September 2026.
