Principal Systems Engineer On-Site
Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree. Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design. Responsible for collaboration with other systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline Science Technology Engineering or Math with 5 years of related engineering experience or a Masters degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience or a PhD in STEM with no experience Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering General understanding of all design disciplines Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition validation and verification Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability DOORS or other requirements Management Experience Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel Interim Secret DoD security clearance or higher - Most work is performed in a closed area Preferred Qualifications: Systems Engineering experience Requirement decomposition functional flow diagrams Use case analysis Experience working fast paced development programs Sysml or Cameo Experience Experience Level: Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $63.00 - $85.00/hr.
