50.00-55.00/hr. Length of Assignment:
1 year to start with potential for extension or conversion. Department:
Biospecimen Acquisition and Management at Roche Diagnostic Solutions, supporting acquisition, characterization, and management of biological materials, including build of panels for clinical research and cultivation of microorganisms and mammalian cell lines. Role:
Facilitate daily operations for service requests related to Culture Collection and panel activities, providing biological solutions to drive innovation. Responsibilities:
Execute project activities with minimal supervision, manipulate human cell lines, microorganisms, and other biological materials, perform recombinant DNA techniques (cloning, restriction digestion, ligation, transformation), grow bacterial cultures under sterile conditions, analyze plasmid DNA and RNA transcripts, and recommend solutions to procedural problems.
