Shipping And Material Handling Specialist
Location: Logan, UT Shifts Available: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6am, Friday-Saturday 6am-6:30pm Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Material Handling Specialist, where you will prepare and kit materials for the production departments, ensuring a seamless warehouse process. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction Documents (WIDs), and work orders to handle materials, operate equipment, and package products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
Prepare and kit materials for production departments. Follow SOPs, WIDs, and work orders to ensure safe and efficient material handling. Receive and fill orders accurately and in a timely manner. Place incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in appropriate locations. Use tools and equipment such as computers, handheld scanners, tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Follow safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Maintain accurate inventory in all designated warehouses and locations. Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized. Cooperate with departments to ensure products meet quality standards. Prepare and account for all material movement documentation. Participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities. Work effectively as part of a team and assist in training and mentoring co-workers. Complete training proactively to focus on personal development. Adhere to work schedules to meet production goals. Essential Skills
General production knowledge. Experience in shipping and receiving. Packing and packaging skills. Warehouse and material handling experience. Inventory control and picking skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
