Job Summary We are seeking a Supply Planning Application Developer II to support the modeling, development, and deployment of solutions within a custom-built Supply Planning Application. This role involves working with technologies such as IBM Cplex, Python, and PL/SQL, while collaborating closely with business users and technical teams to design, build, and maintain high-performing, scalable solutions in a global supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business users to analyze, design, develop, and deploy enhancements to the Supply Planning Application using IBM Cplex, Python, and PL/SQL Develop acceptance criteria and execute various testing phases including Unit, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing Investigate current system customizations with a focus on optimization and simplification Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure proactive communication with impacted users Interpret business and technical requirements to develop functional and technical specifications Support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including coding, testing, business sign-off, and deployment Integrate supply planning systems with external source systems like SAP, Treadstone, MES Ensure code quality and maintainability by using version control tools like GitHub Participate in Agile development methodologies and deliver solutions in sprints Maintain documentation and provide user support as needed Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions in IBM Cplex, Python, and PL/SQL Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, including Inventory and Demand concepts Experience with system integration involving SAP, Treadstone, and MES platforms Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Experience with custom supply chain application development Prior experience in a manufacturing or global supply chain environment Familiarity with supply chain optimization models and scenario planning Certifications (if any)
No certifications required Certifications in Supply Chain Management, Python programming, or Agile practices are a plus
