Are you an experienced
Epic Professional Billing Analyst looking to make an impact in healthcare IT? We are seeking a skilled
EPIC Physician Billing Analyst
to join our team in Hicksville, NY (moving to Garden City, NY). In this role, you'll configure, maintain, and optimize the
Epic Professional Billing (Resolute PB)
module to ensure accurate billing, claims processing, and reimbursement for physician and provider services.
This position requires
5 days onsite during training , then transitions to a
hybrid schedule : Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays in-office.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, customize, and maintain the
Epic Professional Billing module
(Resolute PB). Manage charges, benefit engines, workqueues, collection agency workflows, and statement processing. Analyze and improve
revenue cycle workflows
to optimize efficiency and compliance. Act as the
primary Epic PB support contact
for end-users, troubleshooting billing and claims issues. Provide
end-user training and education
on Epic PB features and workflows. Maintain compliance with
Epic updates, coding standards (CPT, ICD-10), and claim formats (X12 4010 to 5010) . Participate in
on-call support rotation
as needed. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field. Epic Professional Billing Certification
required. 3+ years of hands-on Epic PB experience
including charge router, workqueue configuration, benefit engine, and estimates. Strong knowledge of
healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing codes, CPT, ICD-10, and insurance procedures . Proficiency in
system configuration and troubleshooting tools . Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Local candidates only,
no relocation package offered . Preferred Skills
Experience with both
professional billing and hospital billing workflows . Ability to collaborate with IT, finance, and clinical staff to improve billing processes. Strong documentation and training abilities. Benefits Package
