The Engineering Manager will support the Director of Engineering Services in managing the operations of this large convention hotel, ensuring maintenance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventative maintenance, including logging, scheduling, and project assignment.
• Review work orders, prioritize, and assign tasks.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Coordinate engineering staff activities across shifts.
• Understand and implement Omni's fire alarm and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC and mechanical experience required.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Union experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of luxury hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in a convention service hotel is a plus.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
