We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, machining, and precision measurement. This role involves operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components while adhering to strict specifications and tolerances. This will be a Direct Hire Position.Compensation: $20.00-$28.00Schedule: 3: 30PM-2: 00AM - Monday- Friday with protentional for voluntary and occasional mandatory weekends.DutiesReview work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.Programs lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.Sets-up lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; trimming heads.Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, regulations, and plant safety.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
