Responsibilities Design and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, including data models for product, data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines for enterprise. Define standards for data governance, data quality, metadata, and security. Work closely with Engineering and help implement high quality data models and best practices. Build and maintain logical and physical data models that support analytical and operational use cases. Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable data solutions. Evaluate, select, and implement data-related tools, platforms, and frameworks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, FedRAMP) related to data storage and usage. Monitor and optimize database performance and data workflows. Provide guidance on master data management, data lineage, and data cataloging. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and architecture for a large SaaS company or a mature startup 10+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data processing systems that solve complex customer problems. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work with other Engineers and teams to help them get to the best implementation Strong SQL skills and familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong skills with Graph type databases, both implementation and tuning Excellent written and verbal communication skills The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, and benefits, which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and role.
