Job Description
Post-doctoral research position in Division of Cardiology at University of Maryland, Baltimore A full-time Post-Doctoral fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Bradley Maron in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. The laboratory's research applies network medicine and systems biology approaches to uncover the pathobiological mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, utilizing in vitro and in vivo studies with disease models and advanced research techniques. The current position focuses on the pathophysiology of endothelial cells in pulmonary arterial hypertension. Candidates must be in the process of completing or have obtained a PhD in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline, with an interest in cardiovascular research and a strong publication record. Experience in experimental vascular research and endothelial cell biology is a plus.
