Kings Point Church of God is seeking a Part-Time Worship Director to help lead our congregation in meaningful worship and to shepherd our worship team both musically and spiritually. This position is designed for a bi-vocational individual who feels called to ministry and is gifted in leading others to encounter God through worship.
Responsibilities:
Lead the worship team in a weekly rehearsal (music preparation, prayer, and team building).
Lead worship during Sunday services with excellence and authenticity.
Shepherd the worship team spiritually, encouraging growth in both musical skill and personal faith.
Collaborate with the pastor and leadership to plan and prepare worship services that align with the church’s mission and vision.
Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to serve in the worship ministry.
Qualifications:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical teaching.
Musical proficiency (vocals and/or instrument) and the ability to lead a team effectively.
A shepherd’s heart to spiritually encourage and disciple the worship team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Previous worship leading experience preferred.
Part-time role, bi-vocational friendly.
Expected commitment: weekly rehearsal, Sunday service leadership, and occasional planning/meetings.
This position is NOT FULL TIME and does not include benefits but does offer compensation.
