CNC Machinist 3-4

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist III-IV role in Troutdale.Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment) to produce precision parts according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances.Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) and document results.Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions or repair needs.Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and team members to optimize machining processes.Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.3+ years of CNC machining experience (CNC Machinist III) or 5+ years with advanced knowledge of setups, complex parts, and multi-axis equipment (CNC Machinist IV).Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T.Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.Ability to use precision measuring instruments and conduct quality inspections.Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work swing shift and overtime as needed.
