Four Slide Machinist

With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain four-slide machines to produce precision metal stampings and formed components.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.Select, install, and adjust tooling, cams, and feeds for optimal machine performance.Monitor production runs, inspecting parts for quality and making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and consistency.Troubleshoot machine issues, tooling wear, or setup problems to minimize downtime.Perform preventative maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure efficiency and reliability.Accurately document production data, including machine settings, adjustments, and inspection results.Collaborate with engineers, toolmakers, and team members to improve processes and meet production goals.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following all company safety procedures. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or toolmaking preferred.2+ years of experience operating and setting up four-slide machines (or related stamping/forming equipment).Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine tooling, cams, and feeds.Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail and quality.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Flexibility to work swing shifts or overtime as required.
