Description: Skilled and motivated Customer Support / Field Service Technician to play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers through optimal functioning of their Aerosol Jet systems. You will be the company's face to the customer and be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of their systems. We will depend on your technical expertise and dedication to service to build strong customer relationships that result in our mutual success.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure and provide updates to Optomec systems at customer sites Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues onsite and by phone, email, and chat Provide training in best practices to on-site personnel Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers Keep records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems Collaborate with internal teams to improve products and services Maintain AJ and facility equipment at Optomec's St. Paul facility
Requirements
ssociate's degree, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, military E4 or equivalent competency in Engineering, tech support, or a related field. E5 or equivalent preferred for the supervisor position. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of simple DC circuits and test procedures and a strong mechanical aptitude Some knowledge of any computer language preferred Experience in technical support or a similar customer facing role Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Windows environment bility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by customer needs ble to utilize commercial air, ground and self-driven transportation bility to lift 50 pounds independently and access components from the floor to a five-foot level Comfortable standing for long periods of time during on-site support and system demonstrations Knowledge of Mastercam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Cognex Vision or motion automation a plus Some knowledge of Mandarin a plus ny level of security clearance a plus
