Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead all aspects of accounting operations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management and accounting principles, strong leadership abilities, and the capacity to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations. Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness. Supervise and develop a team of accountants, providing mentorship and performance feedback. Deliver detailed financial reports to leadership, ensuring GAAP compliance. Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations. Coordinate external audits and respond to audit findings. Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting processes. Assist in budget creation and perform variance analysis. Partner with HR, IT, and operations to support strategic decisions. Oversee tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or CMA preferred. 5-10 years of relevant experience. Strong technical proficiency in accounting systems and Excel. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
