Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Atlas Search Our client is looking for a Director of Payroll in NYC. Job Description: Ensure the processing of multi-state and global payroll is accurate and timely Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Maintain and audit payroll information through collecting, calculating, entering, and uploading data Update payroll records, entering changes in exemptions, deductions, employment status, and department/division transfers Oversee junior team members on a day-to-day basis Recommend ways to improve and automate payroll processes Prepare reports, compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding in a timely matter Core Competencies: 6+ years of experience in end to end payroll processing Must have knowledge of Federal and State Tax regulations and laws Workday experience is preferred Strong Excel skills are a huge plus The annual base salary range is $140,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
