JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Director to provide leadership in our technology department. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll assist in overseeing the IT strategy, ensure seamless operations, and drive technological initiatives in alignment with our business goals. Your expertise will be critical in propelling our company forward in the digital age. This position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer within the department and work closely with the Vice President of Technology, who oversees systems and software development.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Support and manage operational and technology activities in two veterinary companies within the same organizational umbrella (combining for more than 1000 employees) as well as home office team support. Develop, implement and support an innovative IT strategy that supports organizational goals and business growth. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT professionals to achieve excellence. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiency and scalability both at our home office and in the veterinary field. Ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards and in working with cybersecurity professionals annually through review and necessary change. Assist in managing the IT budget effectively and allocating resources to maximize the impact of technology investments. Collaborate with senior management, the IT team management and other departments to identify and address technological needs. CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Significant experience managing technology management at the enterprise level Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel Strong analytical and critical thinking ability and active listening skills Extremely detail oriented with strong project management, timeline, and reporting skills Experience with quality assurance of technical processes and procedures Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks Extremely web, internet, and "app" savvy Knowledge of IT networking, IP structure, web, systems architecture, and standards Strong knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation processes Unwavering interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Maturity, good judgment, and professional demeanor Self-driven, takes initiative, working with minimal supervision and direction Ability to demonstrate and uphold CityVet's core values

Working knowledge of M365/Office Platform Experience integrating with APIs Experience with AI technology enhancements REQUIREMENTS
10+ years' experience working in a management role with advanced technology, personnel management, and project management 5+ years' experience working in a senior management role overseeing numerous team members simultaneously.
