JOB SUMMARY
An IT Infrastructure Specialist is a technically minded project coordinator and IT support specialist that utilizes successful organization techniques to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, supporting current clinics and helping facilitate and support CityVet growth.
It is the responsibility of the IT Infrastructure Specialist to work with members of the Technology Team, Vendors, interdepartmental connections, and the IT Leadership to find solutions for technology-related problems, questions, and inquiries. The IT Infrastructure Specialist will have a large impact on the overall goals and agendas of day-to-day technology operations, as well as growth and development initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Assistance in project coordination, organization, and management of department initiatives. Assistance in monitoring and management of technology partners and accounts Supports with testing and support for proprietary software and systems, as well as quality control of internal software and external vendor support software processes and effectiveness. Support IT Leadership and aid with overall assistance and support of general team goals within the organization Oversee, track, and measure system and network performance. Create instructions and training programs for all program installation sequences for the field team as needed and requested. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases to IT Leadership Assist with the management, analysis, and budgeting of all software licensing renewals. Assist in providing in-person, over the phone and virtual technical support to clinics and hospitals, up to and including, desktop, phones, software, website, and proprietary software assistance. If needed, help with the deployment and technical setup of new location IT setup (occasional travel outside Dallas and Fort Worth may be required) Position involves some after-hours and weekend time (support and project work) Complete all tasks as assigned by their supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel. Extremely detail oriented with strong project management, timeline, and reporting skills Experience with quality assurance of technical processes and procedures Extremely web, internet, and "app" savvy Knowledge of IT networking, IP structure, web, systems architecture, and standards Strong knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation processes Unwavering interpersonal skills Displays critical thinking ability and active listening skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities Maturity, good judgment, and professional demeanor Self-driven, takes initiative, working with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to demonstrate and uphold CityVet's core values.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS (DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)
Firewall administration and support, Sophos Central experience a plus. VoIP administration and support, RingCentral experience a plus. Linux/UNIX systems administration experience (installation and support) Database structure knowledge, installation, support, and query language knowledge
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years' experience working with technology and project management. Reliable transportation for travel to and from DFW area clinics Ability to lift 50 lbs. to waist height occasionally. Occasional bending, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching. At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
