Duties of the Manufacturing Environmental Engineer:
Provide accurate documentation of regular chemical processing audits Work with OSHA to ensure compliance with government and Process Safety Management standards Analyze layouts, data, and KPIs to determine if process improvements or process changes can be made to improve compliance with government and PSM standards Respond to and evaluate incidents related to chemical processing Implement corrective actions and improvements aimed at process safety improvement Lead
Process Hazard Analysis Ensure environment safety relating to chemical manufacturing processes Train employees on Process Safety Management and chemical processing safety Work with other plant departments to ensure process safety Update and improve SOPs related to Process Safety Management
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Environmental Engineer:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field Prior experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and strong knowledge of all related standards Ability to work communicate with internal and external personnel
