Manufacturing Engineer (Japanese Bilingual) – Mt. Vernon, OH area

Salary: $65,000-75,000

As a community leader, the client seeks to add a team member who can contribute to their success and the community as a whole. This role requires Japanese language ability and hands-on manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant processes, equipment, and material flow to identify opportunities for systematic improvement, upgrades, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with machine operators, quality engineers, and management to continuously improve reliability and performance in casting, heat treating, and machining areas.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and upgrade SOPs and process flow to increase efficiency, part quality, and performance.
• Partner with customers and new model engineers to ensure adequate tooling, materials, and labor for product launches and mass production runs.

Qualifications

• Business level Japanese speaking, reading, and writing ability.
• At least an Associatest degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar technical field.
• At least co-op experience within a manufacturing facility.
• Willingness to be hands-on and involved in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility.
