The Opportunity… Responsibilities The coordinator will assist with other areas of the departments work such as QC, TPO projects, and other administrative work Actively outreach and Interface directly with eligible clients from different backgrounds to provide them with program services in a timely and efficient manner Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries through several communication channels Track all client projects immediately and accurately in GRID Alternatives' Salesforce.com CRM database Work with colleagues to identify opportunities to streamline the process so we can serve more clients in a given amount of time Fielding and responding to various program-related inquiries Support the departments' other areas of work Quality Control (QC) of project documentation for completeness and accuracy per our various funding program rules, ensuring projects are ready for invoicing Daily review and submission of multiple projects at different process stages, working with our TPO partner to move projects forward Support the coordination of construction-related outreach, potentially involving site visits, installs or public information sessions about projects Assist in collecting feedback and data relevant to construction and outreach initiatives Other responsibilities as assigned What you offer… Passionate about renewable energy, affordable housing, and/or environment/environmental justice work Ability to "hit the ground running" quickly as part of a fast-moving team Strong computer productivity skills and attention to detail Strong professional communication skills, and the ability to represent the organization professionally to a broad range of clients throughout California Effectiveness at organizing, prioritizing, and addressing assigned tasks in a timely manner in coordination with internal and external teammates Effective management of professional interpersonal relationships, and working across large internal and external teams Self-motivated and self-directed Ability to adapt to shifting workloads Analytical and problem-solving skills Flexible and willing to embrace change, go the extra mile, and bring ideas and energy to a rapidly growing organization Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work effectively as a team member in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment Ability to handle confidential information in a trustworthy and professional manner It would be great if you also had… Experience with Salesforce.com CRM database is strongly preferred Experience with renewable energy, affordable housing, and/or environment/environmental justice work Nonprofit experience *Hired CA candidates must be able to pass a screening for drugs that are illegal in the state of California, including: amphetamine, cocaine metabolite, opiates, and PCP. GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
