ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as a full-time Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our plant operations. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Maintain, inspect, repair, and install plant machinery and equipment following manuals and instructions while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment such as crushers, conveyor belts, pumps, and screens, adhering to manufacturer service intervals. Conduct inspections on plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Facilitate the movement and installation of plants according to engineering specifications while mentoring less experienced mechanics. Disassemble and repair production equipment, replacing worn or broken parts including bearings, motors, and controls. Engage in maintenance of buildings and undertake related tasks as assigned. Foster a culture of safety by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work areas and communicate any improvements effectively. Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of specialized training in a technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers' training program. 3-4 years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction within a plant or industrial setting. Proficiency in basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as using shop equipment like welding and machining tools. Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and utilize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
