Hiring Range $126,110.40 to $172,348.80
Pay Range $126,110.40 to $195,478.40
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Director of Finance is responsible for directing the day-to-day performance and operation of multiple financial functions and departments including financial operations and revenue cycle. The Director of Finance leads the establishment of strategies for the development and implementation of company policy and objectives and develops plans necessary to achieve objectives.
This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
1. Master’s degree in accounting or business administration; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
2. CPA preferred.
3. Five (5) years of progressively responsible oversight of financial and/revenue cycle experience.
4. Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience including at least two (2) year of experience leading multiple functions or demonstrated proficiency at the Administrator II level in Finance at SCF.
Additional Qualifications for Director of Finance II:
1. Demonstrated proficiency as a Director of Finance I at SCF.
Native Preference:
