The opportunity EY's Oracle Services practice assists in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full lifecycle application implementations. We provide expertise in Oracle applications and technology, advising clients on core applications and technology solutions to support their business needs. As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will focus on defining user and customer requirements, especially in user interface development across platforms, and engineer software components for seamless system communication. Your Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects, emphasizing quality, risk management, and continuous improvement. Lead research, benchmarking, and innovation; manage professional employees and supervise teams to meet objectives. Ensure billability through chargeable work, lead workstream delivery, manage project status, and oversee deliverables. Travel as required, participate in client sessions, lead workstreams from planning to execution, and identify additional service opportunities. Lead RFP responses and manage engagement economics, resource planning within budget. Skills And Attributes For Success
Successful candidates will possess technical and business acumen, problem-solving skills, and leadership ability. Key skills include: Team collaboration with client and third-party professionals. Project execution, monitoring performance, and adjusting scope/timing as needed. Architecting technology solutions focusing on data flow, migration, and integration across multi-vendor landscapes. Developing people, delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and leading by example. Generating new business, developing relationships, and managing teams through all technology lifecycle phases. Effective communication with senior management, agile methodologies, application integration, and quality assurance. Proficiency in software development, business requirements analysis, relationship management, negotiation, digital fluency, and emotional agility. To qualify for the role, you must have
A 4-year bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience. Experience with SCM/ERP application implementations, including Oracle SCM Cloud and Oracle EBS modules, with managerial experience. Hands-on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST, SOAP, and integration platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi. Knowledge of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM. Strong communication skills and willingness to travel 60-80%. Ideally, you’ll also have
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields; MBA or MS preferred. Strong analytical, decision-making, leadership, and communication skills. A passion for continuous learning and professional growth. What We Look For
