We are looking for an
Accounting Manager
to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and that financial statements are accurate and timely Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that financial goals are achieved Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their jobs effectively Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy Stay current on accounting standards and regulations, and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field CPA certification preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role Previous experience managing a team of at least 2 Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong leadership and management skills
