The Delta Cargo Commercial division spans sales, marketing, network planning, revenue management, product, and partnerships- all working together to deliver premium service to our customers.
As a Marketing and Communications Co-op on the Delta Cargo team, you will help bring that story to life for our customers, partners, and employees. You will support real-world marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, engage global audiences, and strengthen employee connection across the division.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing, internal and external communications, event planning, digital content creation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be part of a collaborative team making an impact within Delta's global cargo division, a key contributor to the airline's commercial success.
The selected candidate must be available for the following alternating full-time semesters:
Spring2026 - 1st rotation
Fall2026 - 2nd rotation
Summer2027 - 3rd rotation
Responsibilities May Include:
Supportthe planning and execution of internal and external event, including logistics,content, and branding needs
Assistin creating and editing content for LinkedIn, internal channels, newsletters,and customer or employee communications
Developmarketing materials such as web copy, talking points, and sales and promotionalassets and presentations.
Helpmanage project timelines, campaign tracking, and integrated marketing supportand coordination.
Conductingand analyzing internal surveys to inform engagement and communicationstrategies
Recommendingimprovements to team workflows and content delivery processes
Proposingnew ideas to elevate Delta Cargo's marketing and communications approach acrosstouchpoints
Contributing to visual contentefforts, such as graphic design, photography, or video
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution.
At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
Must be available to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters: Spring 2026, Fall 2026, and Summer 2027.
This position requires student to work for 3 alternating semesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters.
Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the Co-op.
Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and support process improvement
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Preferred majors in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.
Graphic design, video and/or photography skills are helpful and desired, but not required.
