Components Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul unit at GA Telesis, we are seeking an experienced
Chief
Q uality Control Inspector to join our world class quality team. Reporting to the Director of Quality, MRO Services, this role is responsible for the operation of the quality control functions of the repair station, including leading the quality monitoring processes and procedures. Responsibilities Maintain record entries required by article 43.9 or 43.11 Supervise all inspection functions and provide guidance to secondary inspectors Ensure maintenance / alterations perform according to applicable approved data for FAA standards Develop and manage process to ensure the airworthiness of approved articles Perform preliminary inspections, functional testing, in-process, and all final inspection as per repair/alteration data requirements Examine all contracted materials and maintenance components to ensure quality standards Use the tools, equipment, and test apparatus (recommended by the OEM or its equivalent) to assure completion of the work is in accordance with accepted industry practices Maintain and coordinate compliance with ADs, FAR/s along with manufacturers service bulletins Conduct visual inspection to determine extent of accident damages prior to maintenance and alteration is performed Ensure team members perform maintenance and alterations with high quality regulation standards Qualifications Must be certificated per 14 CFR Part 65 / A&P certified Familiar with applicableregulations (as specified in 14CFR Part 145.155) Knowledge and experience with inspectionmethods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used todetermine airworthiness and compliance Proficient in the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
