Role Description We are hiring a Business Development Specialist to join our team in San Diego. This is aclient-facing, outbound-focusedrole where you will play a pivotal part in introducing and selling our AI software and services to insurance agencies and brokerages across the U.S. This person MUST have experience in the insurance industry. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing growth strategies, negotiating deals, conducting market research, attending industry events, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize business development initiatives. Responsibilities Actively source, prospect, and engageinsurance brokerages, agencies, and firms of all sizes across the country Leadfull-cycle sales: from outreach to presentation, product demo, negotiation, and contract closing. Collaborate with our internal teams (product, marketing, and implementation) to tailor pitches and ensure seamless onboarding. Develop and maintain arobust sales pipelineand manage CRM data. Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to represent our platform. Provideclient feedbackto help improve product positioning, messaging, and user experience. Qualifications Proven

B2B sales experience

in theinsurance, SaaS, or AI industry. Strong understanding ofinsurance workflows, brokerages, and sales teams. Experience in identifying new business opportunities and developing growth strategies. Skills in building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating deals. Market research and industry analysis skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. Ability to travel to meet clients when needed. Nice-to-Haves: Previous experience selling toinsurance carriers or brokerages Familiarity withAI, automation, or compliance tools Existing network in the insurance or Insurtech industry Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Compensation Base Service Fee monthly base retainer Commission Structure highly competitive performance-based commissions Apply now and be part of a company thats reshaping how insurance professionals work with AI.
