HVAC Project Manager
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial and industrial HVAC projects from start to finish. This role involves significant responsibilities in bidding, estimation, and project management to ensure the successful completion of each project within budget. Responsibilities
Report to the General Manager of Sheet Metal for HVAC-related tasks. Bid on jobs, handle estimation, and submit bids for new projects. Oversee the entire lifecycle of each project, including purchase orders, change orders, and project execution. Conduct estimations, which comprises approximately 40% of the job. Manage ductwork and heating/cooling systems to ensure projects remain on budget. Lead project management efforts by supervising union employees, engaging with customers, and coordinating with internal staff. Primarily work on commercial and industrial HVAC projects. Essential Skills
Project management experience in HVAC. Expertise in estimation and bidding for HVAC projects. Knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, construction management, change orders, RFIs, mechanical, plumbing, and sheet metal. Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating commercial HVAC projects. At least 3 years of experience in project management. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 5+ years of experience in commercial construction (Heating and Cooling). Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
