Job Description
This role offers a range of $26 to $31 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations. Hybrid work schedule after training is complete. Located in IL.
Monitor and interpret global chemical regulations (e.g., GHS, CLP, TSCA, REACH, etc.) and assess their impact on existing and new products.
Provide necessary reporting on individual and departmental goals
Support customer inquiries related to product safety, compliance certifications, and chemical content (e.g., SVHC, Prop 65, RoHS, etc.) in a timely manner.
Utilize SAP, update SDS, run formulas through system compliance engines
Work on SAP to keep up to date GHS information, creation of SDS templates, correction of chemical data errors
Gather, evaluate, organize & document information in a variety of formats
Work cross-functionally to ensure products meet regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis
Support INX teams with regulatory knowledge to allow them to reach their goals
Provide training and internal guidance on regulatory topic
Attend training and participate in trade organization events
Qualifications: Qualifications
**
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to: **
Have BS degree in the natural sciences, chemistry or a degree in Computer Science
1-3 years' experience in regulatory OR the ink industry preferred
Strong analytical abilities, problem solving and organizational skills
Experience with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GHS, TSCA, CLP, REACH, etc.) is required.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret and implement regulation and guidance documents
Show problem solving and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Self-starter with a strong work ethic who operated with a sense of urgency
Upbeat, calm, and a steady demeanor working with people in a fast paced environment
Enthusiastic about safety, and regulations
Principled, honest and ethical
Be positive, driven, and inquisitive
Work well in a team environment is a must, collaborative with both the desire and ability to lead, train and mentor, as well as learn and grow own knowledge
Show ability to work on project independently
Detail-oriented and disciplined
