PTS is looking for a Highway/Roadyway Engineer that is passionate about joining a multidisciplinary engineering firm dedicated to developing superior infrastructure solutions for their community.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, subconsultants, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff. Lead the Florida transportation team, managing staffing, morale, and client satisfaction to ensure profitable operations. Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee agreements for FDOT and other agencies, including subconsultant agreements. Serve as Project Manager, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality from concept to completion. Lead transportation projects, ensuring compliance with DOT standards, codes, and regulations, and serve as Engineer of Record. Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed design phases, and present project plans to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience in transportation design. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months). FDOT project experience is required. Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, 3D corridor modeling, and Microsoft Project. Why You'll Love Working Here
