Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Paralegal with litigation experience
to join our legal team. The successful candidate will support attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process, including pre-trial preparation, document management, discovery, trial, and post-trial procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal documentation. Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, trials, and meetings. Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence. Manage case files and maintain accurate litigation calendars, deadlines, and schedules. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials and evidence. Coordinate and manage discovery, including document collection, production, and review. Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery documents. File documents with state and federal courts electronically and physically, as required. Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel. Prepare trial binders and assist in organizing exhibits and other trial materials. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and firm policies. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Minimum of 2+
years of litigation experience
in a law firm or corporate legal department. Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures. Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and litigation support software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with e-filing systems and case management software (e.g., Relativity, Clio, or similar platforms) a plus.
