Job Description

*Case Management* Oversee all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.

* Document Drafting & Filing* Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.

* Discovery Coordination *Manage discovery processes, including document production, review, and organization.

* Legal Research* Conduct research on statutes, case law, and legal precedents to support case strategies.

* Trial Support Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing witness binders, and attending trials to support attorneys.

* Client Interaction* Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate meetings.

* File Management* Maintain and organize both electronic and physical case files, ensuring compliance with firm protocols.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.

* 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.

* Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis), Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Knowledge of California state and federal court rules and procedures
