Pay:
$17-25/hr. (based off of skill level and weld test) +15% shift differential for 2nd shift Shifts: 1st = Mon - Fri (7am to 3pm) 2nd = Mon - Thu (1pm - 11pm) Ability to train on 1st shift for 2nd shift position Description: We are seeking a
TIG Welder
who is comfortable working with thin stainless steel for a metal manufacturing shop. Qualifications: Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily. Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing. Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time. Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to work in hot/cold warehouse environment Job Duties: Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily. Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols. Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing ? Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met. Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials. Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used. De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture. Perform other duties as assigned.
