ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only, and is not a comprehensive listing of all the duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Performs various routine clerical duties (e.g. screening calls, taking/transmitting messages; maintaining calendars; performing data entry; word processing; etc.) Receives and receipts all cash for deposit on state forms.
A) Collects and receipts cafeteria monies. B) Collects and receipts instrument fees (band/orchestra director). C) Collects book rental fees, including lost/damaged books (e.g. maintain book rental records and data processing. D) Collects and receipts fundraisers monies (e.g. picture, candy sales, etc.) E) Collects and receipts monies from athletic functions and concession sales.
Prepares cash boxes for athletic activities; prepares athletic reports (e.g. tickets sales reports, etc.) Maintains daily entries of all receipts and expenditures. Prepares financial forms (weekly, monthly and semi-annual reports, cash reports) Pays all debts, including check authorization purchase vouchers and prepares state purchase vouchers. Processes, receives, and/or maintains records (e.g. attendance, supplemental pay forms, F-28 forms, etc.) Processes, receives, sorts, and distributes a variety of correspondence and deliveries. Greets visitors at main reception areas; directs visitors to appropriate locations. Responds to requests for information from staff and the general public. Answers routine questions. Handles building rental contracts. Sells game tickets on student lunch hour and reduced price lunch tickets. Serves as the substitute payroll secretary, when necessary Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective working environment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, students, parents, and the public. Work without close supervision; perform satisfactorily under pressure and with frequent interruptions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and a minimum of three (3) years in general office or basic customer service experience; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
