As a Senior Financial Analyst – Capital Assets, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving key initiatives across our Capital Assets, Cash Compliance & Controls, and Financial Reporting teams. This is more than just a numbers role—you’ll have visibility across the organization, work on high-impact projects, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Financial & Accounting Excellence
Drive financial reporting and compliance for Capital Assets, Cash Controls, and Financial Reporting teams. Manage monthly accounting processes, including close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Review and enhance financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Strategic Projects & Process Optimization
Leverage data-driven insights and methodologies like DMAIC and LEAN to enhance financial operations. Utilize Excel, Power BI, Power Queries, and other tools to streamline workflows. Lead multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support
Conduct financial due diligence, analysis, and integration activities for M&A transactions. Ensure seamless alignment of financial processes during acquisitions. Provide executive-level reporting and support decision-making for leadership teams. Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital assets, leases, and cash management. Expertise in financial reporting, ERP systems (SAP experience preferred), and IFRS/US GAAP. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Power Platform, and data visualization tools. Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to drive change in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills—comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels. High ethical standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
