JOB SUMMARY The Coordinator II position is the primary point of contact for the Guadalupes Scholars and Verso LAlto programs within the Habiger Institute for Catholic Leadership. The position focuses on student recruitment and retention, program formation meetings, coordination of student service opportunities, academic support, and collaboration with other university departments and programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Plan and conduct monthly and bi-monthly meetings for both the Guadalupes Scholars and Verso Lalto programs; lead planning and consult with Habiger leadership team on formation curriculum development; monitor service pillar of Guadalupes Scholars coordinate opportunities as needed. Coordinate recruitment efforts, especially to targeted parishes within the archdiocese, including meetings with pastors, families and presentations during Masses with marketing materials; serve as liaison with Dougherty 2-year college. Serve as primary contact for Guadalupes Scholars including academic support, advising, and remediation plans to improve GPA; monitor retention rate and reporting for Guadalupes Scholars program. Serve as primary program representative collaborating with other UST programs and departments, Archdiocesan programs and parishes, and national partnering institutions. Continue on-going communications and networking with Guadalupes Scholars alumni; create publications to support recruitment and development efforts to raise scholarship and programming funds. In collaboration with the Program Manager, monitor programming budgets and expenses. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

High school education or the equivalent Three years of administrative support experience, preferably in Higher Education Must be able to work flexible hours which may include evenings, weekends, and periodic travels out of state Preferred Qualifications
