Position Overview:
The Mass Spectrometry Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling SCIEX Mass Spectrometry (MS) products within a designated territory, driving revenue growth through existing customer follow-up, new customer acquisition, cross-selling, and working with distribution channels. This role covers Sacramento, Northern California, and Northern Nevada. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with colleagues and the Advanced Workflow Specialist. In this role, you will: Meet and exceed sales targets, forecast accurately, and possess expertise in analytical workflows (LC/MS/MS, chromatography). Utilize sales tools and CRM to manage pipelines and achieve results. Understand our product portfolio and communicate technical information effectively. Navigate complex sales situations collaboratively across departments. Apply account planning tools to guide your work and grow prospects. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field. Preferred experience in scientific capital equipment sales; candidates with inside sales, laboratory, or related experience in LCMS will be considered. Residence within the territory with ability to travel up to 50% and work remotely. Travel & Other Requirements: Travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight stays. Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications: Strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships.
