Hot Topic We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll utilize your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily operations and sales goals. Responsibilities include: Providing an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills. Assisting in store coverage and leadership support when needed. Opening and closing the store as required. Processing sales transactions, promoting add-on sales, and managing register operations. Understanding sales plans, KPIs, and store metrics like UPT and ADT. Supporting planogram updates and merchandising efforts. Communicating fashion and music trends to management and HQ. Ensuring store security and preventing theft. Maintaining stockroom organization and store tidiness. Contributing to a collaborative and passionate team environment. Performing other duties as assigned by the Store Leader. Qualifications: At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills. High school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range: $17 - $19.55 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
