POSITION SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting executive level and senior management, coordinating events and managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the corporate office. This position carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Experience as a personal or administrative assistant, or in event planning

Preferred

Degree in meeting or event management, or business administration or management

3+ years of proven experience as a personal or administrative assistant in a C-Suite environment

Required Skills and Abilities

Must possess organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Proven interpersonal skills, emotional maturity and the ability to build relationships with Executive level and Midlevel management.

Must be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of service and response.

Ability to achieve performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to maintain a realistic balance among competing priorities.

Proficient in MS Office suite of products

Must possess the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.

Ability to take direction and follow oral and written instructions.

Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
