RTS Carrier Services and Shamrock Trading Corporation are seeking a Business Development Manager. This sales position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts for RTS Carrier Services. The role focuses on selling to new customers while developing and growing existing accounts within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing, ambitious, and possess a dynamic sales personality. Understand and execute all processes from lead generation and prospecting to qualifying and closing new accounts. Develop new business deals, negotiate terms, and lead the negotiation process. Identify and develop strategic sales efforts and cross-selling opportunities across divisions. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. Ensure all processes are followed to maximize yield, aligned with senior management strategies. Participate in strategic planning, including corporate positioning, competitive analysis, and market penetration plans. Assess market potential, pricing strategies, and profitability for existing and new business models. Assist in product marketing activities, including launches, presentations, and competitive analysis. Refine processes continually to stay ahead of customer needs in relevant industries. Track metrics for all programs and activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of high-volume, transactional sales and business development experience. Proven success in providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone. Experience with high call volume (cold calling) and face-to-face sales. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple product lines. Attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis. Passion for success and contributing to organizational growth. Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Benefits Package
