Business Development Manager - Fuel Sales

Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our fuel sales team as a Business Development Manager. About the Role

This position is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new accounts while expanding relationships with existing customers within an assigned region. The successful candidate will take a consultative approach to selling RTS fuel card solutions, working directly with transportation companies to understand their needs and deliver value-driven products. Responsibilities

Source and develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers Conduct consultative sales discussions to assess client needs and present tailored RTS fuel card solutions Negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable, mutually beneficial agreements Identify cross-selling opportunities with other RTS and Shamrock divisions to maximize account value Participate in strategic planning, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and penetration strategies Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market potential to inform sales strategies and product positioning Collaborate with product marketing to support launches, create sales tools, and deliver compelling presentations Track and analyze key metrics to measure performance and refine sales approaches Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of business development experience required 5+ years of business development experience preferred Demonstrated success in professional, solutions-based sales over the phone and in person Experience managing high call volumes and maintaining a robust pipeline Excellent customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-product sales environment Strong attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis Competitive spirit with a drive to contribute to the organization’s long-term growth What We Offer
