Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. This role drives significant impact by delivering critical environmental monitoring solutions that help customers detect floods, protect communities, and ensure sustainable water management. Youll own your territory like your own business, working closely with customers to provide the technologies and insights they need to make informed, responsible decisions for their communities.

This position is part of the Sales team and will be remote, based within comfortable driving distance of a major airport in Texas, Oklahoma, or New Mexico.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Participating in sales activities including customer site visits, phone contacts, trade shows, seminars, product demonstrations, and channel management. Promoting and selling OTT HydroMets product lines to existing and new customers. Developing and executing a business plan to manage your territory effectively, engaging stakeholders and internal resources to best serve customer needs. Managing and reporting on sales opportunities, competitive activity, and the voice of the customer using Salesforce.com. Maintaining a healthy sales funnel, meeting or exceeding assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin. Conducting regular customer opportunity reviews and presenting activity plans to leadership.

The essential requirements of the job include:

35 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably selling water quality, flow, discharge, telemetry, or data management solutions. Proven ability to work with municipal, state, federal, or consulting agencies involved in flood, stormwater, or environmental monitoring. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time; must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record. Bachelors degree in a management or science-related field such as Environmental Science, Engineering, Hydrology/Meteorology, or equivalent experience.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
