Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Compliance Department supporting various compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Senior Compliance Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay Range: $50-$60/hour, w2
What's the Job?
Conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on clients in accordance with established procedures.
Monitoring and investigating alerts generated by the Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) and reporting suspicious activities.
Reviewing and dispositioning sanctions alerts and making recommendations regarding potential sanctions issues.
Assisting in the periodic risk assessment process related to BSA/AML and Sanctions risks.
Performing compliance testing and quality assurance to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities in control processes.
What's Needed?
A bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
3+ years of working experience in compliance required.
CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) Certification is preferred.
Strong speaking and writing skills.
Ability to prioritize among different tasks and demonstrate project management skills.
