KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage global Records Management staff across all offices Oversee all records requests and team projects Oversee matter destruction process Oversee client-file transfer review process Manage attorney departure process to ensure accuracy and maintenance of records Manage the data destruction process related to court orders, confidentiality agreements and NDAs Resolve project team staffing, communication and training Develop training and mentoring arrangements Provide technical guidance to team members Lead complex Records Management projects Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner Manage job queue Participate in the interviewing, selection and training process Oversee employees’ work performance and provide guidance in the resolution of problems Initiate disciplinary procedures in collaboration with the Human Resources Department REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree Required 5+ years of relevant supervisory experience in a law firm environment or legal department Knowledge of department operation and procedures pertaining to the management of paper and electronic records Knowledge of corporate and litigation file types Previous experience with electronic filing and paper-to-digital conversion Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills Detail-oriented Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
