Maintenance Electrician

licensed Maintenance Electricians

In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems across a busy industrial facility. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, install, and repair facility electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, VFDs, switchgear, and lighting Troubleshoot electrical equipment and control systems using schematics and diagnostic tools Work with 480V 3-phase motor control systems Test and inspect motor controls, transformers, generator windings, switch panels, and related components Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime Safely dismantle and reassemble electrical equipment as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area through daily housekeeping Accurately complete shift logs and reports Identify and communicate safety concerns or production issues to supervisors Cross-train and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed Follow all MSHA and company safety policies and procedures Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Licensed electrician
with
4+ years of industrial electrical experience Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Strong troubleshooting skills across various systems: PLCs, relay logic, VFDs, motor starters, and transformers Familiarity with hand tools, lifting devices, and testing equipment PLC experience preferred but not required Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must pass a physical and drug screening
