Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the preconstruction process from concept through guaranteed maximum price (GMP) or lump-sum submission.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering options across all project phases.
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify risk and opportunity.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop construction schedules and logistics plans.
Direct internal estimating teams and interface with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and scope coverage.
Prepare and present bid packages, RFP responses, and design development budgets to clients and leadership.
Facilitate constructability reviews and coordinate early involvement with operations and field teams.
Maintain strong industry relationships and a solid understanding of current market conditions in South Florida.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in construction estimating and preconstruction, preferably in South Florida.
Proven experience managing projects in multifamily, commercial, and municipal sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in preconstruction software tools such as OST, Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Excel.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Deep understanding of construction means and methods, labor/productivity rates, and market pricing.
