Manage the operational expectations and overall business success of the boutique by working with their Store Manager and corporate partners on areas of store operations including (but not limited to): stock management, facilities maintenance, security, supply ordering, applicable finance compliance, training, POS systems, and communication systems; providing recommendations and solutions for an efficiently run business. The Operations Supervisor will report to the Store Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Team Management Manage Client Care & Retail Support Attract and recruit a team of successful operations associates capable of development. Train, lead, and develop the operations team; support operational training for all store staff. Coach and lead the team on performance, provide professional development, and nurture corporate culture. Ensure internal control procedures are followed and closely monitored. Streamline retail operations processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure all store employees follow standard operating procedures and policies as per company directives and store guidelines. Lead the team in procedures and protocols related to health and safety in partnership with Store Management; ensure compliance. Safeguard the physical security of company assets, customers, and employees. Adherence to Policies and Procedures Ensure store employees are trained in all operational policies and procedures. Enforce all operational policies and procedures as dictated by the Employee Handbook, Retail Operations Manual, and related materials. Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counts as needed. Collaborate with and support the global team in risk management, physical security, employee issues, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-store communication, and L/P audits. Other Participate in ad hoc projects as decided by management. Client Care Assist with overall operations of the Client Care department within the store to ensure operational efficiency and brand-standard client experience. Work with Store Management and Client Care to ensure all directives are followed and staff are well-trained. Facilities Maintenance Assist Store Management in recognizing facilities issues and opportunities; ensure quick, cost-effective resolutions. Maintain back-of-house standards, including cleanliness and merchandise organization. Ensure the boutique is kept clean and well-maintained; all employees are responsible for store cleanliness. Profile
High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of management experience with at least two direct reports. Professional presentation and excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, team player. Knowledge of fashion, design, and a love of travel is preferred. Ability to lift boxes up to 20 lbs. Flexible to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
