$25 to $30 per hour

Position Summary

The Production, Facilities, and Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining facility systems, and ensuring all types of equipment and infrastructure function smoothly. This versatile position requires hands-on technical skills, troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to keeping both production and facility operations running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

Assist production teams in troubleshooting and resolving equipment or process issues.

Perform machine adjustments and minor repairs to minimize downtime.

Support changeovers, setups, and routine maintenance on production equipment.

Monitor production equipment for proper operation and report abnormalities.

Maintain documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.

IT Support

Provide first-level IT support for hardware, network connectivity, cables and structure.

Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of production devices, small tolling's or machines.

Facilities & Maintenance

Perform routine building inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

Carry out general repairs on building systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical).

Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces, utility rooms, and storage areas.

Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or service requests.

Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Participate in safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills.

Keep records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training .

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing, facilities, or IT infrastructure (cables and setup) support environment.

Experience operating or maintaining production equipment is an advantage.

Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) helpful.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Physically able to lift and move equipment (up to [e.g. 50 lbs.]) and perform manual labor.

Working Conditions

Work performed in both production areas and office/technical environments.

Exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures on the production floor.

Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
